Handpicked Penrith is no longer operating exclusively as a dress agency. While we used to function in that capacity, our approach has evolved. We currently operate as a second-hand shop, specialising in the resale of preloved clothing, handbags, footwear, and accessories. Our emphasis is on curating a collection of high-quality, stylish items.

Additionally, through our selling service, individuals can showcase their high-end items both online and in-store. This service provides a platform for sellers to efficiently sell their items, expanding our range beyond the traditional dress agency model. Despite the change in focus, our commitment to offering curated, quality pieces remains a cornerstone of Handpicked Penrith.


A consignment service, also known as a sale or return service, is an arrangement where the owner of an item (the consignor) entrusts it to a seller (the consignee) for sale. In the context of Handpicked Penrith, it means you can bring your luxury and designer items to us, and we will showcase and sell them on your behalf. You only pay a commission from the final selling price once your item is sold, and there are no upfront fees. In the shop, we operate on a sold-as-seen basis, and unfortunately, we don't accept returns. However, for items purchased online, we understand circumstances may vary. You can return online purchases within 14 days. Please review our detailed Return Policy for more information.

Additionally, we may utilize other third-party platforms for sales, also subject to our discretion. While we would love to offer every item online, curating our collection is time-consuming. Rest assured, we carefully choose where to showcase items to maximize their chance of finding a new home

Upon the sale of an item, the funds become available to Handpicked Penrith. Due to The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, this process can take between 7-30 days for the funds to become accessible to Handpicked. Once available, the payment will be included in our next payment run.


No, there are no upfront fees to sell with Handpicked Penrith. Our selling service operates on a consignment (sale or return) basis, meaning we only take a commission from the final selling price of your item once it is sold. This allows you to showcase and sell your items with us without any initial costs.
